I'm in the airport waiting to fly back to Pittsburgh after an extended Thanksgiving weekend at Anne and Darryl's. The focus was definitely on Isabel, who is now 4 months old. She is, of course, adorable and quite the little handful! This is the most I've ever been around a baby and she definitely gave me a good idea of what it's like to bring a new little person into the world.

I've added a small album of Isabel's first Thanksgiving. Also, as an excuse to test out my video workflow on my new blog, here is just an 8-second clip of Isabel exercising her vocal chords:

I've just integrated a photo gallery into my site (using Zenphoto) and have uploaded our full wedding album along with the best pictures from our honeymoon in Croatia.

If you want any full size photos from either album, just let me know and I'll email them to you.

This is my first blog. I am experimenting with the new Habari blogging software because I heard it was pretty neat and I'd tried Wordpress before, so thought I'd start fresh with something new. Once I figure out how to get it running on OSX Leopard, I'll let you know how I did it!

I'm not sure what this blog is going to be about, but I'm thinking it will be a blend of the technical (web application development, UX techniques, etc) with my favorite topics like the lactose conspiracy, barefoot walking, or remote controls. So, you know ... just like every other blog out there.
